Travel

Assistance in Travel under the NDIS supports participants to access their community and build independence when travelling. Family Care Australia provides trained support workers who assist with travel and help participants develop confidence and skills to travel safely and comfortably.

Transport support may be included in an NDIS plan for participants who cannot use public transport due to high support needs. This can include travel training, transport-related aids, or reasonable costs for taxis and private transport to support safe and reliable travel.
