Building Bridges of Hope

Family Care Australia began with a simple belief: that real care has the power to change lives. Every act of support we provide is driven by compassion, respect, and a desire to create lasting impact.

Our Story
Family Care Australia is based in a heritage building that once served as both a doctor’s surgery and a family home, supporting the Auburn community for decades. Within its walls, people sought care, reassurance, and understanding — and those values remain at the heart of who we are today.
Inspired by this legacy, Family Care Australia was established to continue a tradition of genuine care in a modern way. As a registered NDIS provider, we deliver personalised disability support services across Sydney and Wollongong, helping individuals live with dignity, independence, and confidence. We go beyond basic support, building real relationships and providing care that adapts to each person’s life.
Because we care.

Our Mission
At Family Care Australia, our mission is simple: to care for people in a way that truly matters. We exist to support individuals not just through services, but through understanding, respect, and genuine connection. Every person we support is treated as an individual, with their own goals, stories, and needs. Guided by compassion and a deep sense of responsibility, we strive to make everyday life easier, more fulfilling, and more meaningful for the people and families who place their trust in us.

When Sarah first connected with Family Care Australia, everyday life felt overwhelming. Tasks were difficult to manage, and time away from home caused anxiety. What Sarah and her family needed was support that felt safe, consistent, and genuinely understanding.
FCA began with daily living support and community access, taking time to build trust and routine. As confidence grew, Short Term Accommodation (STA / respite) was introduced, giving Sarah a supported change of environment while providing her family peace of mind. With a consistent support team and care tailored to her preferences, Sarah gradually became more confident and independent.
Today, Sarah feels supported rather than managed, with greater confidence in daily life and community activities.
Sarah says:
“Family Care Australia really listened to me. They supported me at my pace and made me feel safe, respected, and understood.”
Because we care!
